DescriptionSo... I got sidetracked today by the botnet because using one in my current game left me thinking the zombification bug had got worse, so I went into the test chamber. And, uh... I hate to say it, but something is really quite wrong. The number of zombies produced from firing at stacks is quite wildly at odds with the number of units killed, and sometimes even stranger things happen. e.g: I fire a stack of Mk7 v wings. The survivors include a mark 1 v wing. ...?!?
It also produces fairly frequent recreations of the phantom ship bug mentioned in https://bugtracker.arcengames.com/view.php?id=27514, although I can't speak for the phantom explosions part.

Detailed Observations:
Against single targets, the single target will always be zombified, even if it's hitpoints are low enough that it only takes one shot to kill and there is no zombification damage extant.

Against stacks, things get super-strange: Some zombies will be produced, but the number seems... odd. Starting from the situation in save "V Wings stacked botnet":
I tried a mk7 botnet vs a stack of 132 mk7 V wings. It killed 99 of them and produced 18 zombies, according to the sidebar. The remaining stack size was given as 32, not 33. Note that this does not add up. Close examination reveals a remaining visible stack of a 1 phantom mark1 V wing with 1 hitpoint that is marked with the debug code "I have died". After a few seconds of letting the game run, it figures this out and the sidebar also updates. This was consistent across several tests. But it's nothing compared to the next volley.

Shooting at the remaining stack of v wings then killed 25 more v wings. And produced 42 zombies, according to the sidebar and the selection window at the bottom-right of the screen, and counting the stacks of zombies. This is consistent across multiple tests, again.

Letting things re-stack (As seen in save "Further V Wing stuff 61" and shooting at another stack of 61 V wings produces another 18 zombies, having killed 49 of them, leaving 12 remaining, and, if you look carefully, another stack of 4 phantom mk1 v wings that soon die. Shooting at this stack of 12 produces another 18 zombies, and leaving a few remaining V wings, including, somehow, a living mk1 V wing. Note all v wings at the start were mk7. This can be seen in save "WheredidtheMk1Vwingcomefrom"
So... something seems... funky.

This is consistent across save-load, including a full computer restart. Saves are attached, and so is the chamber. Starting the chamber again from scratch produces similar results, but the exact numbers differ slightly.
