|Summary||0027514: Strange graphical glitches.|

As you can see, the bug includes: Either the sidebar update rate has slowed down considerably, OR the main planet view is not showing ships that are still there. (0:23 onwards)
Either ships are firing at the wrong location, OR the main planet view is not showing ships that are still there. (0:10 or 0:23 are good examples)
Explosions from dying ships are in the wrong place. (0:06 onwards)
There is actually another bug that I've been getting, which is ships and their icons briefly appearing in random places as ships are dying on a planet, but I haven't been able to get a screen capture of that one.
You can also see this in the attached savegame. I have used anger management to boost the hacking response to make things easier to see. I would have preferred to attach the one I used to make the clip linked above as for some reason it's even clearer there, but that one has non-distributed mods.
While in both cases I've used hacks to easily get a big blob of AI ships on command, I've also observed this issue occurring in fights with non-hack ships, such as exostrikes.
I've never noticed any of these issues before the most recent patch, but that's not to say they weren't there, I've never been super observant. But certainly I have trouble believing that they were this prevalent before.

I have also seen graphical bugs, mostly just phantom unit circles on the 'ground' on planet view (screenshot attached). These are basically on every planet in the same formation every time.

||If you use the most_recent_stable, do these go away? That is the prior patch.|
I just tested four nearly identical situations on most_recent_stable and I couldn't see any signs of it at all on those. So I think it is new with this patch.

||I switched back to the latest version and they re-appeared, I then did another file validation (I already did one earlier) and they're still there. (All files validated successfully both times.)|

I was able to reproduce a not mentioned in this ticket case of ships flipflopping in 'at local planet' by loading the graphical test save. I committed a fix by making that sort stable.
So reproduced the ship death effects not being anywhere close to the ships by loading the save and doing the outguard hack. The behavior im seeing is: first batches of ships that die show explosions at the right location. After some fairly brief time the explosions just keep occurring there in the same location were there is no longer a ship. I kill a ship and i see the same explosion re-explode at the old position. Its like death effect pool items are actually not getting a proper new position?
I don't know much more about this system but just wanted to at least give it a shot before unassigning from myself.

I noticed today in my current game during a battle that more than a few ships had this error in their tooltips, I couldn't help but wonder if it was related...

Neither of these errors survive save-load.
