| Description | It was sort of known but there is an issue when trying to modify existing vanilla units with a mod. Even using is_partial_record="true" you get errors, apparently caused by the variants (ghost, ensnarer and AI here) who tries to "copy_from" and get bugged. The mod here was intended to allow to change turrets range, for balance testing, but it refuses to work due to the bug. I poked Starkelp with it who find nothing wrong with the mod, and think it's is_partial_record="true" I am dropping the mod and the log of the problem here, to contribute data to the problem. Hopefully it'll get resolved at some point. This pretty much stall my work on making a working mod for turrets. I can only balance by straight up changing the game xml files for now. | ||||

This is still an issue and preventing mods like galactic conquest from being updated. |
