Description | As I seem to have caused more confusion than help in issue 0022114, here's a fresh report. Hacking cost for ARS hacks does not scale properly In the attached save, hack 1 cost 15, hack 2 cost 18. So far so good. Looks like 1.2x scaling as intended Hack 3 cost 36, and hack 4 cost 54. Hack 5 would cost me 72. Now it's suddenly using a formula where the hacking cost is (n-1)*(cost of hack 0000002) instead of 15*1.2^(# of hacks -1) This may apply to other hack types as well. Haven't tested. Attached save was started in 1.005. | ||||

Okay, hacking costs now go 15 -> 18 -> 22 -> 26 -> 31 -> 37 That looks a bit better. Thanks for reporting! |
