DescriptionMake the Dark Spire ships not produce ships for generator so they do not auto feed themselves and potentially ruin your game with 50k+ ships

Or at minimum make the exo-waves sent by fallen spire not generate ships :x

Apparently Dark Spire don't contribute to their own build-point generation, but something has to be since the Dark Spire in my territory in the save attached to my post (related above) are spontaneously generating out of somewhere it seems, after being cleared off numerous times.

I uploaded my save file also, wait a couple of second for the shard event to trigger and watch the firework. Even after the exos they just keep spawning and spawning ( I quitted at 70k threat )

Whoa, that was pretty crazy :)

For 5.084:

* Dark Spire spawns no longer get stronger based on the number of previous dark-spire-spawns, because this was still causing things to get out of control even at a very low value (+1% per previous spawn, so additive and not exponential), and this is probably inevitable in some situations like FS shard-chase-exos.

* Dark Spire vengeance generators now only get 1/10th the normal charge from a ship dying if it belongs to an exo attack.

With those changes, the shard recovery in your save goes pretty routinely just group moving the whole mass back to your homeworld. AI attacks coming in from all sides and hordes of Dark Spire engaging them (and the player) on several of those planets, and general mayhem, etc. Pretty entertaining, actually :) But things don't spiral out of control.
