Description | The dark zenith komodo dragon flagship is probably supposed to be the final form of the chameleon. However, it can upgrade backwards to an iguana flagship with 2000 kills, which is quite sad. Sadly, this is a multiplayer game, so I can't share the save. | ||||

Also, the zenith flagships are extremely lopsided in power. The chameleon and its upgrades get access to incredible modules while the medusa and asclepius kick rocks (are terrible). The chameleon weapon modules dire electron pulse and dire petard don't gain any damage bonuses. |

I'm also noticing that dark zenith players don't benefit from the ship mark upgrades on epistyles. All of my non-flagship ships are still mark 1 after several hours. This is a multiplayer game again, so I don't have the save file. I'll probably make a separate ticket later if I try playing the dark zenith again. |

re: mark levels; were you an MP host or client? There's a known issue where the Dark Zenith mark level upgrades don't show up on MP clients |

Yeah, the DZ mark levels don't show up properly on the client, but it does work. A purely visual bug which is very annoying, but I'm hesitant to fix it because it messes with code I don't know amazingly, and I don't want to invest that much time/I really don't want to introduce new bugs. Since most people don't play as MP clients, I think we're going to have to live with this one for the time being at least |

I think it'd be interesting if the Ormr and the Chameleon had their modules swapped. The way the komodo behaves especially feels like that should be how the Ormr is behaving instead. The chameleon could also use a slightly reduced modules number, like subtract 1 from their modules per mark level for each upgrade form maybe. I also think it'd be cool if the Ormr could spend hacking points on itself to keep improving (like with the add more modules hack the dark zenith and dyson have). That way a human ark sidekick with an Ormr flagship could have something to do with their HaP besides taking human *bleh* ships. |
