Description | A teleporter gun that does very little damage, but moves a unit "somewhere random on the map, but x distance away," and only if they are a humanoid scale unit, could be hilarious and effective. It bypasses the more causal knockback, and loses predictability. But it's a way to mitigate damage by just having the unit by not-right-here at the moment. It can backfire, though, since they could be teleported into more of your base. But a one-turn stun could help mitigate that also. Maybe that's a two part ability. If you have a unit with a reciever teleporter augment, then any units you hit with the teleporter gun go within X distance of any reciever. Hilarious, but if you can teleport them to a known target, why not into a prison cell? Also, this seems *way* outside the tech level of the rest of the setting. |
