Description | I suspect this won't be a problem after the objective that asks you to burn 50 tents and structures, but during that objective, it can be difficult to find valid targets. Tents are always burnable, but small or partly-ruined buildings sometimes are and sometimes aren't (see the linked ticket). Tents are also not always easy to spot outside of vision range of units because absolutely everything is low-gloss black. I'm not sure if it's worth adding long-range target highlighting to the flamethrower *just* for this one objective, though. | ||||

It now has a much larger range, but it's still something that isn't there to help you too too much: * The flamethrower has been entirely reimagined. ** Rather than being something you awkwardly target, it hits a wider range, and hits EVERYTHING in that range, for a whopping 5 ME. ** Its use in combat is semi-limited, but that was kind of always the idea. For clearing an area of small buildings, it is very effective. ** This ability also now causes alarms in military bases if it strikes units inside them. ** It also does a little popup saying how many units you set on fire, how many buildings you burned down, and how many people you unhomed. ** Visually and aurally, it's a lot more powerful-sounding, too. |
