Summary | 0029117: Imperial Spire doesn't win the war, unlike AIW 1 | ||||
Description | The Imperial Spire is getting "stuck" on a bastion planet next to the AI HW, and not continuing through for the kill. I attempted to destroy all dire guard posts on bastion worlds, but that didn't free up the Spire forces for the killing blow either. I ended up having to send in my own fleets to finish off the AI. In AIW1, I recall that all invulnerability for the AI home command stations was removed when the imperial spire joined the party, and the spire would ensure rapid termination of the AI homeworlds. Desired outcome: Replicate AIW1 behavior, at least with the imperial spire pursuing the HW and all invulnerability-producing structures. Bonus outcome: Ensure that either Phase 2 doesn't happen or that the spire allocates forces to follow the phase 2 entities until destruction | ||||

some significant improvements have been made. the imperial spire will still be a bit slow on the dire guard posts, so you might need to wait a bit (or help them out). But they won't just get randomly stuck anymore |
