DescriptionI noticed that zombies don't seem to spawn for players, yet seem to spawn for the AI. I tried using the Apocalypse Warhead from the Outguard Party mod to test hostile-to-all Zombification, and it doesn't appear to work either. Neither of the ships displayed are intended to be immune to Zombification, nor are they in stacks, yet after death they do not respawn at all. I'm unsure if this affects other zombie-centric factions like the Nanocaust.

There are several issues in current version (and have been) with on-death effects. You can try turning on Personal Settings > Debug > 'on-death fix for stacks' which improves things a lot, but next version will have the more complete fix and that setting will no longer be needed.

Fourth shows me building only Parasites and Mugger Frigates but not receiving any zombies. Fifth shows AI Zombifier factions gaining zombies. Changing Zombify Everything galaxy setting did not change this. Validating files and disabling all mods did not change this, no mods are present in either of these saves.

Ok here is what i see.

Four.save does not load.
Fifth.save does. I see the AI killing your stuff and getting zombies.

Are you SURE there is still an issue here? I also made a new game with outguard party and tested apoc.warhead which also worked.

The Apocalypse Warhead was fixed for me in 5.588, but I found out what was the issue with Player Zombies. Turns out, the Zombies Go To Necromancer option was enabled for me for some reason. So I guess the issue is more that this option tries to create ships for a Necromancer faction even if there isn't one in the game.

@BadgerBadger I have fixed the most obvious issue with the setting breaking human zombies entirely, when in game without a necro player. But there are some other things making me think it might be a good idea to just remove the setting and/or put some additional work into it since it seems to have some oddities even in the situation its designed for (described below). In any case it is up to you, feel free to just mark it resolved too if you want.

I started by fixing it to not return out of normal operations when it is enabled without a necro in the game, but I then found more issues. There is code both when something dies and in the zombie faction itself, and both seem to have issues as i ended up with zombie templar ships owned by the necro faction but part of their current planet's planetary fleet, despite that being an ai planet.

Also the setting is labeled like its a sandbox only setting, yet i could turn it on in HA.
