Summary0027548: AI capturable (mass driver) doesn't count other player's command station as a command station; changes owner on cmd fleet swap
DescriptionIn multiplayer my friend claimed a planet, and I reprogrammed a mass driver during the assault. It became owned by me, but my friend is the owner of the planet. The Mass Driver is awaiting a command station to be built before rebuilding itself, but since it is owned by my allied human faction friend it isn't rebuilding properly. So the timeline is: during assault of AI-owned planet, one player reprograms the Mass Driver, and then it dies during the battle. After the AI command station is destroyed, another player than the one who reprogrammed the driver claims the planet, then even when the planet is owned by that player the driver won't build, saying it's waiting for a command station.

The especially odd second issue is: when gifting the command station fleet to the owner of the Mass Driver, the Driver swaps allegiance to the player who gifted the fleet! This means that, as far as I can tell, there's no way to rebuild that Mass Driver, as it never has the same owner as the command station.

I'm guessing that the first part is not a bug, but the second part is. Not familiar with that part of MP but it makes sense that it wouldn't automatically give the mass driver to a different owner of the planet, but you should be able to gift it as you describe.
