Description | See the attached save (unfortunately, just one where has happened/is happening). Still occuring after restarting game/reloading save In the save, a guardian lair on 2ND Nostral is counting down despite the player having no units within one jump of it. I was somewhat recently fighting on Black Pool (adjacent to this lair), so assuming something went wrong with deactivating the lair as my units left the planet. The tooltip says the lair is reacting to units from 2ND-53, which is a player owned planet 4 hops away from the lair. I don't think there was anything special about 2ND-53, since if I moved a unit to a planet that was less hops away from 2ND Nostral than 2ND-53 is, the tooltip would update to that planet. When the counter reached zero, a Brutal Guardian was spawned, and the counter restarted from 1800, as normal (apart from the spawning conditions as mentioned previously). | ||||

It seems to me as if the Lair has already fired once, under normal conditions. According to the description it reads "Once it spawned something for the first time it will not stop as long as valid enemies are in the galaxy." - so as far as I can tell the code does what it's supposed to. Or did it wrongfully trigger for the first time at some point? |
