Description | Tip—Tower Defense Technology Trigger: If a player has not invested in Tower Defense tech after 15 minutes My Liege, while are strength primarily lies in our offensive capabilities, we have access to powerful defenses as well. Non-Totem defenses fall under our ‘Tower Defense’ technology. Guardposts: AI Guardposts that are taken over through our necromancy benefit from our Tower Defense Technology. Lightning Tower: These midrange defenses are heavily fortified and can paralyze low-mass ships while dealing more damage to those with intensive energy usage. Moreover, Lightning Towers gain harmonic damage based on how many other Lightning Towers are present. Catapult: This sniper-ranged defense orbits around the gravity well, dealing extra damage the farther away it is from its target. Therefore, these are strongest when placed along the perimeter of the gravity well. Skull Pile: These structures can only be built by Defensive Necropoleis and require 2 hexes to function, but they can spawn huge swarms of skeletons. While these are quite pathetic at mark 1, each additional mark grants an additional type of skeleton-variant summons. For this reason, we humbly recommend only building these when you have already invested in Tower Defense tech. | ||||
