| Description | I am informed that the new corrosive weapon type does delayed damage over time. This is cool. Tooltips for units that use it don't tell you this at the present time. I think this is less cool. They currently say 'All damage applied is corrosive damage'. There's nothing though about what that means, how long the period is that the damage is applied over, etc. | ||||

Badger (I assume it was) at the time put the description of what happens onto the unit suffering the debuff. I removed that when I put that into the debuff category, so I'm partially to blame I guess. I think it best though to put the explanation of corrosive damage onto the weapon that does it, A) because that keeps the debuff row cleaner, B) every other description for what a weapon does is there and and C) since the first time the player encounters it probably isn't on the receiving end. I'll get to that tomorrow, I think. |

* The Corrosive damage tooltip on weapons doing it now explains what it does. ** Thanks to StrategicSage for requesting. This was originally on the tooltip of a ship suffering this type of damage, but has no been moved to the weapon itself. |
