| Description | There seems to be an issue with the exowar budgets. I was using the "Show Debug Data in Unit Tooltips" while trying to get a save for a different exowar bug when I ran into this: The budget starts off correctly accumulating against me, but then after a seemingly random interval, the line changes to budget against another faction that is not a high enough power level to attract exowar units, but keeping the previously shown power level, and the actual budget resets to zero, along with the unit scheduled to be spawned. Save attached ("9"), and a short clip so you can see what I mean. Please note however that this stopped occurring after the first half dozen or so times I loaded saves in this session, but occurred pretty much every time before that. So something very odd. I was unable to make it occur again on the same save even by restarting, but it seemed to happen fairly readily again, on newly made savegames, so I also attach an entirely fresh save from the same game that has never been loaded ("fresh2") All that should need to be done to observe the issue is to load the save, open the menu with the debug on, and unpause the game for a while. I haven't been able to test if it would actually spawn a unit against the Spire Sphere if left long enough after the bug. (Every time I've opened a save and let it run to try and test this, it refuses to manifest the bug at all, it's *maddening*.) | ||||

This is mostly fixed with the changes related to player allied Exo budgets. It may still occur if you anger a Sphere while you yourself are too weak to put out a Power Level otherwise, but that is probably the logic we'd want. |
