| Description | It did occur to me that I scoffed at the idea of only gaining 15 essence in exchange for giving up either a new unit or transformation or...does anyone actually take the increase to bodyguard count? I wouldn't. Then again, I'm also the kinda of person who wouldn't take 3x the turrets for this one system instead of adding it to all systems. This is a long game. I play for the long haul and plan accordingly. Which is why 200 essence which is just 7 essence shy of a full blown Mark 7 Major Necropolis is extremely attractive choice, but also...admittedly too much. Like I would definitely take the option for 200, but balance is important. While I think the perfect number would actually be 150 Essence. That's a Mark 4 Necrofleet plus a Mark 5 Major Necropolis which can get a pretty sizable troop count including an extra bone dragon (if you have it). Granted. All you need is 107 to actually mark the Major Necropolis to 5 (from scratch), but also you could use that extra essence for expansion and what not. Still would make that option extremely attractive at 150. | ||||

This is a ludicrous amount of Essence to ask for. I will not go anywhere near 150. |

Yeah. It's a ludicrous. But it IS the perfect number for making it an instant pick over ANYTHING else the rift has to offer. 30...is debatable. That's 6 defensive, or 3 Minor, or 1 Mark 2 Major, or a few other low level options for expansion purposes. I feel like I'm playing with coins now trying to get the best value for my buck. |
