Description | After several playthroughs with the Necromance I'm not sure that the initial starting 'Essence' is sufficiently balanced. Any chance of adding an option to set this value? | ||||

There is an option for this in the game lobby; "Bonus Starting Resources". You can also just use cmd:essence,X to get X bonus essence. How much essence do you think would be balanced? |

Oh...so that's what that option does. Okay. And I personally feel like it's sufficiently balanced for early early game. It's at least enough to get your Necropolis to Mark 5 and your first flagship to I think Mark 3 just shy of 4. Which is actually somewhat excessive considering your lack of unit buildings for hex usage. Then again, early defenses aren't a bad option either. So it's best to save up essence to build a new minor necropolis, a major necropolis, and a defensive necropolis. And rank up that one defensive once. Basically, spend your essence wisely. |

The way necromancer resources are allotted has been reworked a couple times, so if some adjustment is needed in the numbers that's an option. |

An option in the game lobby already exists to tune the starting Essence. Additional feedback would be required before any additional changes are made |
