* There is now a full unit encyclopedia, which you can view either through the escape menu or from the main menu. ** It has all of the units in the game, and any mods that are installed will also have their units show up there. ** This has units sorted by "thematic groups," like types of units and factions and so on, and the groups are themselves sorted into category (unit type, race, coalition, etc). ** For any units that don't have thematic groups set up, they will show up in Unsorted, and the idea is that they should be put into whatever groups are appropriate. *** For modders: you can put your own thematic groups in your mods, and put your units in those as well as the main groups. Whatever helps players find your stuff by mod, by function, etc, is great! ** As far as the existing data goes, it's largely pretty decent -- thanks to Puffin! -- but still is missing a number of things that were added after he did his pass, and there are some things that need some adjustments in general. *** We'll be working on cleaning those items up in the near future, but it's a minority of the items from what I can tell. ** This section is also where the lore text goes! You can see it by clicking a button beside each line item if it says it has lore. However, none of them have lore integrated yet, as we just added this feature. ** Thanks to a lot of players for requesting this over the years, and Strategic Sage for pushing for this most recently. |
