|Summary||0025731: Wave loses its "target" planet after it finds enemies on its path|
|Description||I had an incoming wave agains me, but the wave which spawns in at the command center, not directly at the warp gate of the targert planet, found new targets, which were the sapper's beachhead turrets in its spawning system. After the ships of the wave killed those turrets, they started wandering the galaxy on their own, presumably becoming hunter. That's a bit annoying, because I can't control where the beachheads will be, and i don't enjoy a 200 strength way suddenly becoming threath because of 1 or 2 turrets.|
Try unpausing, and see what happens in "Shamir".

||I think the wave tooltip needs to be modified to change player expectations rather than changing the wave behaviour|
||This is also true if there are human forces on intermediate planets.|
I'm definitely down with updating the tooltip rather than the behavior, as well. I do think that this sort of behavior is more dynamic than the alternative is, and also changing the behavior would be murderous.
Something along the lines of "the target is X, but if there is military contact in the interim, these forces will engage, and then become threat." Possibly some mild strategic advice like "be careful not to have an underdefended beachhead or you may wind up with excessive threat stalking you," I dunno.
Overall this seems like a lot more interesting behavior than the slavish alternative, but it does need to be more clear.
