| Description | When an exostrike is triggered, there is just a message saying that the AI is doing an exostrike. The timing of the message is usually very suggestive of what event caused the exostrike, especially with hacking, but it can be unclear *why* that event triggered an exostrike. For example, I was just playing a game in which every time one of my command stations was destroyed, an exostrike would spawn. I didn't have any "shark" behaviours enabled, I wasn't doing any hacking, and risk analyzers weren't on. My best guess is that the "Reconquista" AI type gets free exostrikes whenever they destroy a command station, but it would be nice to know for sure without having to ask online. | ||||

IIRC diff 7 and above automatically has the "shark b" exo-strikes. The Shark B enabled in options add to this exo-strike. Diff 9 with Shark B enabled basically double the size of the exo-strike for each command station lost. |

Smidlee is correct, but also if that is the case the notification tells you it was because of the command station. Do you know exactly what the notification of the exo said, or have a save of when it happens? |

The AI always gets a bonus exostrike when a command station dies. If you enable Shark B these are much larger, but Shark B is on by default for everyone. The AI also gets exostrikes during/after some hacks. These are the most likely sources of exostrikes to my mind. |

This seems like a good idea. Middling vets like myself will appreciate it, but it would be particularly helpful to newbies to help them understand the why. |

Might also be good to add in the description of 7 and up that they will receive an exo strike for hacks and CS being destroyed. I could do it |
