| Description | The specter outclasses the wraith and phantom by quite a bit in terms of firepower and durability to the point where their specialization is overshadowed. A similar but lesser issue is that the wraith outclasses the phantom in a similar way, although in a few cases the phantom's range is useful, in most cases wraiths are better. | ||||

I agree. Right now even a single line of spectres is, on paper strength terms, enough to justify the science cost of upgrading all the way to max tier alien hulls. Even if strength overestimates their effectiveness, that's still ridiculous. |

Okay, so sounds like nerfs for player-capturable Spectres are in order |

Sure, I can give feedback then. I am glad alien tech cost went up, it was so useful due to how many ship lines use it. |

With the changes, dark spire wraiths and specters have similar power and usefulness. This is a good change. However, phantoms are still inferior to both of them. Also, dark spire ship lines in general are very powerful compared to human ones, maybe too powerful. |
