Description | In the Discord a few days ago I remember someone saying that it also applies to regular shields. The attached pictures and save prove this is untrue. In the save I have a single Dark Spire Spectre (which has the relevant bonus) firing on a couple of Battlestations which have more than 10,000 shields, and one has a bubble-forcefield. You can see that after each salvo the anti-shield bonus does not apply to the one without a bubble-forcefield. For the pictures I boosted Spectre damage to 50000 for each projectile for increased clarity: Picture 1 and 2 are the Engineering Battlestation, before and after a salvo from the Spectre. Picture 3 and 4 are the Shieldwall Battlestation, before and after a salvo from the Spectre. The attack bonus description currently reads "If the target has a max bubble forcefield strength of more than [10,000], then the above weapon does [4x] damage to the target's shields (personal or bubble-forcefield)". If the bonus only applies to bubble-forcefields it should say: "If the target has a max bubble-forcefield strength of more than [10,000], then the above weapon does [4x] damage to the target's shields" If the bonus should apply to both it should say: "If the target has a max forcefield strength (personal or bubble-forcefield) of more than [10,000], then the above weapon does [4x] damage to the target's shields". | ||||
