I have noticed no beams on Win 8. |

Can confirm that the repair beams are missing a lot of the time, Win 10 here starting the game with the DirectX11 option on steam. Time that i can see the beams: Right after starting a new game. If i load a game and unpause for the first time while on a planet, should I unpause in the galaxy map there are no beams if i switch to the planet afterwards. I randomly/not always loose beams when: I switch to another planet via wormholes, then back to the planet i was before (again via wormhole) I always loose the beams when: I pause then unpause the game I switch to galaxy map then back into a planet I let the engineers become idle, once they have been idle there will be no beams even if they get new work Even if I loose the "visual part" of the beams in on of the above listed cases, the engineers keep functioning normally, it's purely a visual thing. |

To at to the above, if i scrap an engineer and it gets build anew those (and only those) engineers have visible beams again |

I am on Windows 10 and I don't know why the beams disappear, but I have seen a group of engineers where only one has the repair beam visual active even when they were all assisting a structure. Lately they tend to not have the repair beams showing at all. |

I can duplicate the problem. After tabbing to the galaxy and coming back, it's a problem. |

Thanks! * Fixed a bug from the last few versions (since the ship to ship lines rewrite) where various engineering lines and similar would not be visible properly after being added into the pool once and then the next time they should have been used they would be invisible. Was a good old fashioned case of forgetting to finish the code when very tired. Sigh. ** This probably also affected tractor beams and similar, and claim beams, but it did not seem to affect beam weapons. |
