full_text="Commander, we've detected a massive dimensional shift. It looks like several planets from another universe have suddenly come into proximity with ours; close enough to allow the Wormhole Grids to align.
Our sensors are picking up extremely strong energy signatures; preliminary analysis shows similarities to Zenith Energy, but it's not an exact match to the relics we've been finding. Our scientists are calling them 'Dark Zenith' based on the differences they're finding in the emission spectra. We're not quite sure what these Dark Zenith are up to, but from the amount of energy they're putting out, this looks like a major incursion. If they're functional Zenith rather than just the derelicts we've found to date, we're in for a difficult war.
Our leading Zenith expert asked me to pass along a message to you. She seemed to be chanting.

full_text="Commander, we've managed to attract a small Dark Zenith expeditionary force. They've come to our home planet to help.
These Dark Zenith will eventually be powerful allies, but they're next to useless right now. It will take them a while to build up an economy capable of supporting a meaningful offensive force, and they will benefit from a contiguous empire to allow their economy to flourish, as they seem unable to produce all the resources they need without interplanetary trade. Their production centers, Epistyles, are unable to be built on AI planets as radiation from AI Command Stations will disrupt their processes. This doesn't seem to stop them from building harvesting terminii to collect resources in poorly defended AI systems." />

They will start out weak, but if their economy gets going they can become a powerful threat. We expect them to expand into any territory held or neutralized by their allies. Our scientists strongly advise against allowing them to expand unchecked. We've seen the power remaining in Zenith derelicts. We don't want to see fully-functional Zenith arrayed against us." />

full_text="Commander, the {FactionColor}Dark Zenith</color> are terraforming (or should that be Zeniforming?) planets in our Universe to be more suitable for their civilization. These are terrifying alterations that empower the Dark Zenith and their allies on a planet, and make it harder for their enemies to retake the transformed systems.
It seems they intend to do this to every planet they encounter. If they Zeniform too many planets, we won't have anywhere left to live even if we survive this war. Our scientists are referring to the transformation of planets as the Fimbulwinter. Let's hope we can stop this invasion before our scientists start mentioning Ragnarok." />

chat_text="Commander, the {FactionColor}Dark Zenith</color> we've done some analysis of the Dark Zenith Economy"
full_text="Commander, our scientists have done an analysis of the {FactionColor}Dark Zenith</color> economy.
They use a variety of resources to build their units. To create these resources, they use a series of Terminii. Each resource is associated with one type of Terminus. The base of their economy is a string of Octiron Terminii that harvest the metal.
To create more advanced resources they use Transports to move resources around. They have three lower-tier resources (Thaumite, Chelonium, and Alkahest) which are created by manipulating Octiron. Then two advanced resources, (Izumite and Scrith) which are made from the other resources.
They can then use these resources to build mobile forces and constructor units at their Epistyles. With enough resources, these Epistyles can construct a wide variety of new structures and defenses, as well as a very wide variety of powerful ships.
The Dark Zenith ships range from small fleetships to some truly terrifying Golems like the Ymir. As if the base forms weren't terrifying enough, they will sometimes infuse their ships with extra resources. This exotic infusion allows their ships to have additional abilities beyond the norm.
Each type of resource infusion imparts different attributes:
Thaumite: Stout ships; these ships are more durable.
Chelonium: Fortified ships; these ships have an additional defensive system.
Alkahest: Spirited Ships, these are cloaked and faster.
Izumite: Enraged; these ships have an additional weapon to take on single, strong adversaries.
Skrith: Sinister; these ships have an additional weapon for crowd control." />

full_text="Commander, we've just discovered a terrifying new {FactionColor}Dark Zenith</color> ship. Our ever-creative scientists have deemed it the Jormugandr. We thought the golems were the worst threat the Dark Zenith were capable of creating, but it seems we underestimated them.
This ship is almost unmatched in its power, but that power comes at a cost. The ship seems to require auxiliary power from the Zenith 'homeworlds' in our universe. If these homeworlds are attacked, the Jormugandr will leave the homeworlds to counterattack any factions foolish enough to get in its way. Thankfully, this rampage is temporary, and they will retreat back to the homeworlds once their energy stores reach a critical level."/>

full_text="Commander, we've found derelict golems in the galaxy, and even figured out how to get them moving again, but we've never figured out how to build something with that much power behind it. We still haven't.
Fortunately, our Dark Zenith allies don't have that problem. They've just built a new golem. Apparently, the Zenith-modified metals are the key ingredient that our engineers couldn't reproduce. We still can't, but if we can hold enough territory, I don't think they're going to stop building golems any time soon. Something tells me the AI's not going to like trying to attack systems defended by Dark Zenith golems. Now that they've had enough time to build up, they may just turn the tide against the relentless AI onslaught."

full_text="Commander, as you're aware, the AI command stations have a distinctive radiation signature to them. We've just noticed that signature dissipate from a system near the Dark Zenith presence. Our scientists believe that the Dark Zenith have started directly attacking AI strongholds. While we're glad to have the AI focus on a new threat, it does seem to react to threats with an increasing allocation of resources. Given that we're also fighting the AI, those 'resources' might become problematic for us as well.
If the Dark Zenith are claiming systems for their own, we must assume that they won't stop with the AI. I strongly recommend building defenses before the Dark Zenith reach our territory. Strong defenses."

They've decided to take matters into their own giant appendiges and start claiming territory from the AI. While we're glad that our allies are powerful enough to start making real offensive efforts against the AI, the AI doesn't seem inclined to limit retaliation to just our allies.
