Description | Counter-sniper turrets have a damage bonus against things that are far away, which means they actually counter pretty much everything to some degree, except for ships with radar dampening effects (space plane, etc). I would rename the counter-sniper turret something else, and make a new turret which *actually* counters sniper units specifically via the new `WhenParentEntityHit` mechanic. So, a turret with a low-ish-damage main weapon, but a secondary weapon with `WhenParentEntityHit` that has a damage bonus against things that are far away. That way, it's not super great in general, but it's absolutely devastating against snipers. You might still lose a lot of other turrets if they decide to shoot up all your other defenses first, so maybe a certain amount of boosted target priority would be good here. | ||||
