Description | Compared to the new cruisers, Frigates seem kind of lack luster especially displayed by today's Demo Frigate only run. Some suggested tweaks: All frigates get a small speed buff, minimum speed of frigs to 800. Frigates get more multi-shot/point defence/cwis weapons for anti swarm Frigates need more shield and hull strength since their metal to survivability is atrocious Frigates need more range since they get outranged by all turrets Frigates can have their cap reduced in exchange for even more hull and shield strength, indirect buff to metal and energy use consideration Only Warbird and Raid frigates may be exempt from this due to already extremely high performance for their niche role. | ||||

I think frigates are fine, it's all in how/when you use them. They are not outranged by all turrets, that depends on which frigate and which turret you are talking about. As an obvious example, tackle drone and tesla torpedo frigate range is as long as it gets. |

Ye, this was just suggestions from Demo, CRC, Limbo, and etc. Listed them on mantis for documentation purposes. You should join Demo's frigate only run stream |

I think we can close this tickeet; we may need to adjust individual frigates but CRC added some frigate wide buffs (the increased range at certain marks) that seem to be working |
