| Description | The only good option that you can get from an ODSS is "Tractor Array", everything else isn't as good. Hacking them isn't particularly fun. I think that it would be better if the ODSS could also give you Force Fields, Assault Frigates and Watchman Frigates. To make this balanced the number of these units on each Station should be reduced. You can't already build most of them in the early game because they cost too much, so it's not going to change the way people play. The number of ODSS in the galaxy should also increase in order to make this change work. The way they are hacked should also change, a Tachyon Array is never going to be chosen over a Forcefield. | ||||

This could be something in a mod, but the amounts you are given, and their general unavailability in the ODSS, are very much intentional on my part. |
