Summary | 0024476: Potential contradictory bonus for minor extra HaP.
Description | So optimal play is essentially leap-frogging your way to the AI home world and taking a minimal number of systems with things you really need. What if there was a bonus chunk of HaP if you took a system adjacent to a system you already held? Something of an incentive to raise AIP more than one otherwise would normally in some cases.

Thanks! * New bonus for players! ** If you have captured a planet that is next to another human planet, it will yield an extra 5 hacking points. This is noted on the tooltip when looking at the planets. ** Normally the big incentive is to planet-hop around, in order to reduce total AIP increases. And that's still definitely the overriding factor in play. But we wanted to provide a contradictory incentive for when you DO choose to take a pocket of planets. It's a minor thing, but can give a little bit of a boost to players who are thinking about mid-AIP or high-AIP playstyles. |
