Description | I want to suggest two particular features in the starting game menu. The first one is to add the possibility to have a random starting fleet, battlestation and/or factory. The second one is to have the possibility to select a random AI type within more levels of difficulty (Easier, Moderate, Hard, Brutal), but not necessarily all of them. For example, having a slider that allow the selection of which difficulty levels a player wants to include in the random choice. Today I wanted to play a random AI type, but didn't want to include the easier ones, however I couldn't exclude them. | ||||

The random starting fleet stuff is a good idea, and something we can look at at some point, I imagine. The random AI types, what were you seeing that was not there? Are there not options for random moderate, random hard, etc? I know there's an overall random, but I thought one per category as well. Are you saying you want "random moderate or hard" and similar combos? |

Yes, I'm thinking of combined randoms, for example hard + brutal random. |

Puffin notes: Hey Chris, for that mention of random starting Fleet choices, a reminder that if a Quickstart is missing a specific selection, it currently randomises it. In-case that's handy. Which is handy. |
