I purposefully left these out.

Bulwark was because it might be annoying to the player, plus you can just force target to get around it, which is micro.

Don't remember why Crusher was left out. Might be because it would be annoying. Might...also have been because multiple Crushers put together like the AI does causes weird interactions.

EMP was left out because of micro, again. Checking something seems this was by request.

Bastille left out because there's no way to guarantee it actually spawns under a forcefield.

Mini-Forts are a Fortress Baron unique thing. No other AI gets them.

EMP definitely should be left out of ai hands since it is capable of firing while cloaked forever, and this is very annoying for the player to deal with. They are just going to be left behind on planets and be a chore to clean up.

Cloaked EMP Turrets was specifically called out in the document, as well, though it would be simple to keep it out of the Ghost AIs ship groups only.

I feel like its good that the AI can't use every weapon the player can. It's nice that both the AI and player have unique units.

If the AI can't build Bastille turrets specifically under shields then I understand them not being handed over to it.
I can't say I have used Crusher turrets myself, so I wouldn't know if they throw units about in a wonky way or something. I'll have to pay attention if I build them again.

I didn't know the special ability of the Bulwark could be negated by manual targeting. That's funny, because I remember a similar problem existing in Sins of a Solar Empire.
A good reason to not give it to the AI.

I can see how EMP turrets would be problematic, especially if you don't have offensive fleet centrepieces like in the early stages of a game. Maybe you could give still them to the Ghost AI anyway, because you already need cloak detection anyway, and you can still kill them with longer ranged units.
