Summary | 0023501: Observing the game after player death causes massive performance drops. | ||||
Description | Continuing to observe the game after losing causes significant and unusual drops in performance. I have done about 8 tests for this, and every time I have died and continued observing the performance drops to around 75% with only 40k ships (5k stacks) at play, and as low as 30-40% with a moderate amount of ships. This kind of lag never occurs in games where I have not yet lost, running at 100% even with 225k ships (41k stacks) being used. The 2 saves I sent are relatively similar with the biggest difference being that I have lost in one of them. | ||||

It's also worth noting that the performance drops do not occur immediately after player death, but tend to happen sometime after that, and once the drop occurs the game does not seem to recover from it. |
