Summary | 0023374: Post-victory Outguard no longer move to engage the enemy | ||||
Description | They will fire on any hostiles in range, but do not move from their spawning position. Spawned drones do move to engage enemies. In the attached save ('Outguard 2') I can only really demonstrate their inability to move. If needed I can produce saves from all the way back in version 2.048 with Outguard being able to shoot if they have infinite range, as well as that their spawned drones still move to engage. | ||||

Thanks! * There is a new method FindStrongestEnemyPlanetOrNull() that lets us look for the strongest enemy planet for a faction. ** In the absence of an AI king to go fight, the outguard will now pursue the strongest enemy planet when it is in attack mode. ** In the absence of any strongest planet to go fight, the outguard will now just patrol friendly planets. ** Previously, if there were no AI kings left on the board, the outguard was explicitly told to just chill out, which was definitely strange-seeming. |
