This...might be related to an exception I got earlier that I thought I had reported, but I don't see now. Whoops. Save and log from that report reattached. At the time, I was moving turrets around and cleaning up threat. Perhaps fleet 2's offworld engineers caused something. |

I also have this problem, it carries through to new and old games. I have reinstalled it and verified the integrity. |

Not only engineers, but also Combat Sentries. It does not apply to Combat drones though. |

I had the same problem. It only affects support fleet, station does rebuild their engineers. Combat sentry aren't rebuilt either. It does persist between save/load and rebooting the game. |

Was just about to post this, so +1. I played earlier today and didn't notice it. Guess engineers are good at survival but after reloading an old save I noticed i was at 6/16 engineers :-) Not so fun now when I'm at 0 though :-( |

Got the main one now, thanks! * Fixed an issue in the prior build where combat engineers and combat sentry frigates could not be built. ** This was due to a rule change in how self-building units work, and these happened to inherit some improper self-building xml. ** Now they properly are able to have their self-building xml overrideen to 0, which makes them work again while still keeping the nice new rules in general. ** Presumably these were the only two ships affected (units that normally are planetary but can be used in battlestations with copy_from variants), but if there are more the fix is a quick xml adjustment. |
