Description | Repro steps: 1) Take a planet 2) Loose the planet to the AI, let it rebuild 3) Retake the planet from the AI Expected: 1) Command station repairs fully 2) Rest of the structures on the planet begin repairing Actual: 1) Command station repairs fully (UI shows 100%) 2) Rest of structures are waiting for a rebuilt command station 3) Save 4) Reload 5) Command station gets a quick repair (visualize metal flow to command station) then immediately rest of the planet structures begin repairing See attached savegame, hopefully it has useful data in it. NOTE: I retook a bunch of planets and this only happened to one. | ||||

Thanks for the save! That should be really helpful. Is it easy to lose the planet? Does it work if I delete the command station? I have a feeling I will be loading whatever save about a dozen times as I try to test it, so the quickest turnaround I can get on getting to the bug is really helpful for me. If it has a fast repro, I can probably knock it out tomorrow. |

It's easy-er to lose (not loose) the planet because turrets and forcefields don't repair on their own and you don't really expect to come back to an unfinished planet. I didn't try deleting the command station - I will if I see it again. FWIW - in my current game I had a case where engineers wouldn't build some stuff until I loaded/unloaded the engineers. Might be related. I didn't think to grab a save until after but I will if I see that one again. When you load that save, everything should work properly. Hopefully the initial state is informative though. It seems to load in the same state except it immediately finishes the command station. Maybe it's a floating point issue? Where it thinks it's finished enough (and shows finished) but not so much as to trigger a full state change. Totally guessing there. |

Thank you! * Finally fixed a really annoying bug wherein command stations that got shot to remains and then rebuilt did not count properly (thus not letting anything else be built or rebuilt at their planet) until you saved and loaded the game. |
