DescriptionNo fusion this time. That felt weird. Anyway...

This is the earliest I have ever found a Spire frigate. That thing single handedly tore the galaxy apart up until the AI homeworld. The homeworld I had to keep jumping in and out of with a rejuvenator factory outside. I had a bunch of ablative gatling / autocannon minipod ARSs sitting around, so those took care of phase 2 for me. Early game, raid frigates were enough to take out guard posts as necessary.

I still think counterattacks are too easy to work around. Neutering every border world makes clearing threat/warden fleets much safer early game; the Spire frigate not triggering counterattacks unless it gets crippled was key for whittling down the homeworld. I still suggest adding a way for the AI to rebuild on neutered planets, such as allowing reconquest-like waves to spawn against neutered AI worlds instead of only on neutral or player-controlled worlds. I'm not sure how to make officer assaults more susceptible to counterattacks, though. Perhaps allow eyes to trigger against lone wolves?

I had a bug where reserves didn't spawn, but I don't believe that affected the outcome. Reserves are just food for Spire frigates anyway. I'll open a separate ticket for that.

As you are undoubtedly aware, AIP reduction is still strong. The exos against MDCs mean those planets actually get attacked now, but it's still pretty easy to keep under control unless your seed is garbage. I still have no ideas, though.

Please advise if I can provide anything else.

...Look, I like Spire ships. I don't want to be the reason we can't have nice things, but it really did carry me through this game.
