Description | in attached save on plane Dul - you can see that station is fully rebuilt but all corresponding stuff, like turrets are not rebuilding, tooltip says that station is not yet ready i've seen this issue several times in that game can be fixed by changing station type, but then you loose some of the structures | ||||

I've seen this issue too. Seems to occur after a command station has been destroyed along with its assortment of buildings. I've been able to overcome this by scrapping the station and rebuilding (not ideal) |

Loading this save with my new debugging stuff as created in 0022316, I get the following result: OnLoad: Detected 113 player ship(s) that are in the loose fleet (bad). Was able to correct 109 of those. shipsNotFixedNonPlanetary: 4, shipsNotFixedBroken: 0, shipsNotFixedPlanetFactionIsNotPlanetaryCommand: 0 I'm going to do some further profiling. I'm guessing that these were having trouble being rebuilt from remains rather than it being truly related to some of the other guesses, but I'm not sure. |

Please let us know if you see it again. Thanks! * When the onload process can't fix whatever ships that are in PlayerLoose for some reason, it now also gives a list of which ships those are. * Any ships that did not have fleet_membership="Planetary", but ARE immobile now automatically get set to be a membership of planetary unless they are also a fleet leader (aka things like the AI Overlord Phase 1). ** This makes it so that capturing such buildings puts them into the fleet of the planet and not the "player loose fleet," and also allows for them to be properly re-linked if need be from the onload fixing process. ** This is affecting things like IGCs, MDCs, and so on. It remains to be seen if things of this sort will still properly come back to the planet fleet without a savegame load if they die to remains and then get recaptured (for anything of this sort where that's even a possibility), but fingers crossed. * Also with some of these changes, it's possible that things that were turrets for a specific battlestation or citadel might incorrectly go to the planet fleet after they get shot up and rebuild. Please let us know with a savegame repro if you find that happening. |
