Summary0021945: Eyes, HissyFit Transformer, and Alarm Posts should use Fleet Power threshholds.
DescriptionSince Alarm posts do this, eyes should as well.
I can't actually find a living HissyFit guardpost or Guardian, and due to a lack of an ingame database or search function, I can't find one, even after checking at least half of the planets in the galaxy.

Due to you not having as much control over Starship Vs Fleetship, now replaced with Frigate vs Fleetship, I don't think the raw number calculation is reasonable anymore. Simply using 2x fleet power as the threshold should be more reasonable as a universal standard.

Surely the AI can tell that 5 bombers aren't quite as scary as a pair of assault frigates?

So this bug is "Please use total Strength of ships rather than just their count when triggering AI responses?" Am I understanding you correctly?

Well, it's not a bug, but it is something that has been bothering me since AI war 1.
Yes, that is the intent, and I only suggested it because other objects already use threat.
Unless the intent is still to require Frigates only, in which case the whole fleet control system needs revised....

I have a fix in my sandbox for testing tomorrow, to make Eyes trigger off of # of fleets on a planet instead of number of ships. This is set by a "transformed when ounumbered by X fleets = X" xml field. So if we want some eyes (or some other sort of structure) to have the original Eye behaviour then we just don't use this field.
