| Description | Based on this discussion on Steam : https://steamcommunity.com/app/573410/discussions/0/1628538707071656999 --- Ozone: An alternative would be to display the DPS instead of "raw power" + "reload speed" DPS is much more indicative and it will reduce the mental calculus efforts immensely. --- Chris Park: In terms of showing things like DPS, that could easily be an option in the settings that defaults to whatever people prefer. Or it shows DPS in the condensed view always, but then shows DPS AND the other info when holding shift to see the full details for the ship line. Part of me really wants to make the basics of the existing tooltips a lot more brief, but I'd be okay bringing this sort of info in instead, long-term. Always having ACCESS to the full set of info is I think important, but there's a limit to what I want to shove in your face by default. | ||||

Number of targets + DPS for the default view and Number of targets + Damage + Reload time for the extended view would make a lot of sense. The current damage display is very misleading because the reload time is hidden by default. 3s vs 6s reload time means twice as much damage! How can you compare units without this information. |

It's not quite the report, as all of the things are shown in both abbreviated and non abbreviated, but it's simple enough to change. I just kinda feel like reload time is a bit important when it comes to things such as Spiders and Tesla Corvettes, personally. |
