Forces nearby a Reconquest Command Station. Give order to destroy it, then watch Galaxy Map. Apparently, the Warp Gate does not grant 5 AIP, although it still says so, regardless of if you shoot only it or cause it to self destruct via the Station being destroyed. That seems abusable - let the AI reconquer planets near you, and you have a free way to do wave canceling. (EDIT: Making new issue). (EDIT 2: Suddenly, the Warp Gate is granting AIP...) |

I'm pretty sure that destroying command stations and warp gates built by the AI when it takes back a system is not supposed to grant AIP. However I can confirm that taking the system back does give you a popup saying you explored more planets. I haven't checked if it actually explores more - I don't trust that popup anymore since at some point it started showing about 20 times instead of one, filling the right border of the screen, everytime I conquered a system. |

It does explore more - the save demonstrates thus. I think when it says 20 times, that's because the galaxy is already explored? Maybe? |
