Summary0021529: AI not trying to take down HomeWorld aggressively
DescriptionBadgerBager asked me to post these issue separatly for easier tracking.

I had decided to establish a strong beachhead on a planet next to my homeworld, since there was only 1 way the waves could come from. The planet had the turrets of the military command and a battlestation, an orbital mass driver, a tamed macrophage, zenith forcefield and power generator.

However, one of the waves turned out to contain 3000 strikecraft of the type that could not be slowed or affected by tractor array (Agravic Pods?). The wurmhole to my homeworld was about half a planet's distance to the wurmhole they came out of. It was not defended by a Forceshield. When I realized what the ships were, I thought it was over, as they could have easily decided to attack and kill my homeworld that was much less defended. I think I had flashback of similar behavior in the first AI wars for AI's of higher difficulty. As I was fighting an AI of 9.0 I thought it would also behave that way. However, it turns out they all stayed on my fortified planet and were mostly trying to kill my macrophage with tons of health while my beam turrets ripped them apart.

If anyone can get a save game with this happening (ideally right before the giant AI force shows up on the planet adjacent to the homeworld) then that would be great. I'd love to give the AI the ability to recognize this scenario more clearly.

I've given the AI the ability to try to charge your homeworld under the right circumstances. May need some additional tweaks
