|Summary||0021500: Make alert notification windows transparent, or move them when they hide the target planet|
|Description||In the save of https://bugtracker.arcengames.com/view.php?id=21499 , AI ships have intruded on planets near the top of the galactic map. The under attack detailed notification hides these planets, so that players can't see where it's meant to be unless they pan. These notification windows can be quite large in some cases.|
It would be desirable to make them have 30~40% transparency so that the map can still be seen dimly behind it. Alternatively, the notification can be moved to the bottom half of the screen when the planet is in the top half of the viewscreen.

||I don't understand why you don't just pan the galaxy map? I pan it all the time since I usually stay zoomed in enough to see all the icons.|
The panning limits doesn't permit you to simply move off the side of the galaxy. The two screen shots here shows a small galaxy at maximum zoom, scrolled to the top left and top right. Some planets at the top of the galactic map is going to be partially obscured at all zoom levels by the notifications.
Since you mention it, the issue can also be fixed by relaxing the panning limits?
