Description | I tried this with about 650 strength forces (several thousand ships) on the planet surrounding the node including about 6 citadels with all turrets deployed. Very quickly my forces were totally overwhelmed and within about a minute there were more than 100,000 AI ships going through my planets like they were brownies at the company picnic, and I quickly lost. I get that this is supposed to be a hard thing to pull off, but it seems just a tad extreme. The ratio of AI points recovered to number of new, angry AI ships bouncing around in my backyard made it seem not worth it at all. | ||||

Do you mean the superterminal? If so, uploading a save game where I could see this happening and get a sense of what balance makes sense would be appreciated. |

Some decent sized nerfs have been handed out to superterminal hacking responses. I was able to hack for 30 AIP without losing control of the battle. Note that you may want to play a huge battle like this out at a slower game speed, since the targeting code seems to struggle to let you kill off enough units. |
