Description | I don't know if it was intended, but V-Wings are now excellent at destroying guard posts and wormhole guardians (and their gentle massaging of fortresses has been upped to a mild tickle). The reason is because structures without a value for engine power is always less than 8, and it honestly seems like an oversight. A cap of MK 3 V-Wings is currently doing 61.4 kDPS to all structures, compared to the "structure killers" 21.8 kDPS (Mk 3 bombers, assuming shields >50%) | ||||

I ran the calculations for Mk 3 V-Wings/Bombers vs Mk 3 Fortress, its honestly much closer than I expected. 34.2 seconds for Mk 3 V-Wings to kill a fortress 20.6 seconds for Mk 3 Bombers to kill a fortress Bombers kill the fortress before the V-Wings even get through the shield, but it was pretty close. |
