Summary0020977: Telsa "projectile" animation sometimes plays (and maybe damage) when switching view to a planet
DescriptionThe telsa "projectile" animation sometimes plays when switching view to a planet, even when there are no units on the planet. Often multiple of them.

My guess is that telsa shots fired on a not currently viewed planet still queues up an animation, but doesn't actually play it until camera is shifted to that planet.

I have attached a save, but it does not appear to persist across a save/load, so you will probably just have to wait for some attacks from the AI bringing telsa ships/guardians, let the fight happen off screen, and then switch view to the planet.

This one is probably better. There is a wave with inhibiting telsa corvettes arriving soon on Savik. Just move the camera to some other planet, wait for the battle to finish, then switch back into the planet

I can't tell for sure, but it might not be just a graphical thing. It may be doing damage when the animation plays. Does that mean tesla style projectiles don't work on an inactive planet?
