| Description | Hello there. I was playing the vanilla world with the ArkOne ship. While invading an enemy system it was reduced to 1hp (destroyed) and I retreated it back to one of my owned systems. Upon jumping it was repaired by my engineers, but then became broken. I couldn't really select it, though the tooltip still showed up. I could not move it either. Spent like ten minutes trying to do anything with it... even selecting it directly and from the ship view in the system sidebar didn't work. Saving and reloading the game did fix the issue and I was able to continue using the Ark. Didn't see this posted previously, and I apologize if it is a duplicate. Thanks! | ||||

I haven't run into this issue with an Ark, but I have had it happen to me for certain ships I purchased from a Zenith trader. When they were destroyed (one was a a 6mil Macrophage health ship, the other a dark spire or something), they were successfully repaired but I could no longer control them. |

Should be resolved for all ship types that are claimed from neutral remains, but may not be. It's hard to reproduce this issue for me. |

I can into the same issue but with some buildings. I tried to delete some mines and turrets I had temporarily built for an important defense. I tried deleting their "remains" since they had been destroyed during battle. They were not deleted and were rebuilt by my rebuilder but remained highlighted as if i had them selected. They were not selectable however. On the same save i had a ship schematic building highlighted and unselectable so i could not move it or delete it for that matter. I had clicked it while it was being captured by an engineer and i believe that is what broke it like the other buildings were broken when being rebuilt. This was fixed by saving the game and reloading it though! If you want to look at the save file i attached for any reason, the mines and mk1 turrets mentioned are on planet Dorsai and the schematic on planet Shenker, though again the problem is fixed by loading the save. |

Alright, so I believe I fixed this issue. You can now select remains and scrap them if you want. On death, ships are now unselected, which should stop the ark bug from reoccurring. |
