| Description | i just started raiding and noticed that sometimes my cloacked raider ships would not restore their cloack points. it says in the tooltip that after 5 sconds of not being in combat and not losing any cloacked points the ships will restore their cloacked points. I've waited a minute and have not seen any increase in cloacked points for the ship and was wondering if this was a gameplay bug [regenerative cloacked points not working] or a graphical bug [the tooltip not showing the correct number maybe]. I feel it is the former as i had one of my ships with 300 cloack points fire and it was discovered as its cloack points dropped to 0 [ no tachyons anywhere it was on a tier 1 planet]. hope this helps *edit. After further testing i put my raider ship [the one on 300 cloack points] on hold fire using the new "n" key [hold fire] . This made his cloack points drop to 0 and subsequently after untoggling the hold fire key it regained its 1500 cloack points [ my raid ships are at mkv 2]. this could be another issue as putting the ships on hold fire makes them lose their cloack completly for some reason. ** edit 2 ok so yeah this is gamebreaking. i can get perma stealth by toggling the hold fire key even while its paused so i can get my cloacked ships perma stealthed. very op :D eg. cloack at 300 , presses hold fire hotkey, cloack goes to 0 , presses hold fire toggle again, cloack goes to maximum cloack points. [ i can do this while paused]. | ||||

So that isn't actually an issue - units only regain cloaking points if they currently have none. If they have any, no regenerating. The problem with being able to put them in hold fire and lose the cloaking was fixed previously. As for the losing points while paused, that's known and assigned from a while ago. |
