Description | my engineers keep buzzing over and trying to build the ships I selected and placed on the map, but since the engineers cant repair them they cant build them either(I think, not exactly sure of game mechanics) | ||||

Are you running "simple" ship types in your game? also if you could provide a game save that would be excellent |

how would I access the saves? the ones that show in game aren't in the save folder. |

They would be under RuntimeData/Save. |

You can use windows "search" feature to search for the runtime/data folder. Some people have made a save with a unique name then "searched" for that name. To find out if you are running complex ships go to the galaxy stats page see: http://www.arcengames.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=AI_War_-_STATS_Button_Overview#Galaxy_Stats_Tab. hope that helps |

Since it wasn't addressed; immune to repair doesn't mean engineers can't assist building. I had my engineers assist fortresses all the time back in the day when they couldn't be repaired. |

Thanks for the help on that, I had it uploaded about noon. save is above "export this". Right, I have my engies build mrs and fortresses also, but this acts different. |

Thanks! * The way that rebelling human colonies work has now been completely revamped in terms of what happens once you capture them: ** They now provide foldouts in multiplayer. ** They cannot be used to create ships while the minor faction still controls them (previously, when the rebel colony was in supply, they could). ** The ships they create are now created through a queue as you would expect, rather than through direct placement. ** The colonies are captured on planet ownership change, rather than continuing to belong to a minor faction. ** This fixes a number of prior bugs and logical issues with the rebelling human colonies: *** Previously, the colonies gave no economic benefit to players, despite claiming to, because they were controlled by a minor faction. **** Interestingly, no-one ever reported this one. *** Recently, it was impossible to build any ships using the colonies. |
