This will happen even while not hiding the GUI. I found that you can fix it by pressing f8.
However, pressing enough random buttons to do this will also stall the game until you press f8. The game just stops. The visual display is unaffected though.

EDIT: After testing, I narrowed the key down to the 'J' key. It can be repeated infinitely, and actually takes only one press of the key to break.

The 'opened client socket' corresponds to when I hit the 'j' key, and the shutting down corresponds to when I closed the game.

The 'World.GetPlayerAccountByUsername() called on MultiplayerClient!' seems to correspond to pressing 'f8'.

I will upload the logs. Both of my examples are near the bottom, but it's all there just in case. I left the game running for a while.

* Removed several old debugging keybinds, including some that could break the game if you pressed the wrong key.
