Description | When multiple Grays pursue the player, they should have additional AI to make sure they never (or rarely) occupy the same space, so as to display their numbers more consistently. This will become especially important in Alden Ridge when hoards of them fill large areas of the screen. | ||||

I got some of my good Gray friends together, the slowest ones, and ran circles around them to see what would happen. Sure enough, they bump into each other and wait until others get out of their way! Much better! :) |

Now, the resolution is creating the opposite problem. Grays create traffic jams, such as in the Rainy Ruins. I first noticed this in the north area, where at least three of them got stuck between two vertical walls. Walking along the side of them cleared that instance up. Some extra AI might prevent Grays from sitting still when there's a way forward, or alternately, allow Grays that have to wait too long to use an alternate path to reach their intended victim sooner. |

Traffic jams are actually pretty funny when a few slower Grays get in the way of a fast Gray, who would gladly chase you down but must push against his comrades impatiently. |
