Summary | 0009145: Make Flagship line state it can only boost x ships
Description | Currently the flagship line says "provides allied attack boost, n range" However, the flagship mkI has a limit of 20 ships (normal caps) and this information does not appear anywhere-you have to count the lines.

The number of ships that can be boosted is actually variable. Attack boost has a certain "volume" and each ship takes up a certain amount of "volume" that is roughly equal to their relative sizes. So more minipods can be boosted the fighters, while fewer Zenith Bombards or Starships can be boosted then fighters. The actual numbers are not actually exposed anywhere so that is all the details we know really. As far as I know all boosts work like this. |
|
The limit is not 20 ships for the mkI, it's related to the total area covered by the boosted ships' collision circles. The game could tell you the total area allowed, but that really wouldn't mean anything. |
